Poems by G David Schwartz.

In the Hospital

I went into the hospital
For some hospitality
But they would never say hello
Nor being my evening tea

It's sad to think how I went in
So full of zest and ambition
Not only did they bill my stay
But priced the television

I went into the hospital
For some hospitality
But they would never say hello
Nor being my evening tea

It's sad to think how I went in
So full of zest and ambition
Not only did they bill my stay
But priced the television

The Truth To Tell

The truth to tell
Is the truth to say
But the truth to tell
May not be true today
The lies we say
Are never true
And its not nice to say
That's fairly new
Because the ringing in my ears
Either and neither makes me want
To get out a great mammoth gun
And go on a hunt
To tell the truth, yes truth
Is sometime is nicer
And more polite to speak with ruth
So to all you I here do say
I see you tomorrow is I dint see you yesterday

I Woke Up

I woke up slow and it was yesterday
So I attempted to wake up fast
But I don't know how to do it
So I fell out on my ass
I will wake up fast tomorrow
And I believe I shall out run the squirrel
And if you wish to see
Ya better wake up before or with me
