Four Haikus
by Orbindu Ganga

I tasted the joy
      Creamed in delight,
Ice still melted
      Leaving the traces behind.

a black line

Leaves breathe
       To give the traveller
       A space to heave,
He sighed to rest
       His form, the mind
       Was soothing with ease.

a black line

Buried are the memories
       Never to be disturbed,
Thoughts meanders
       To let the memories
       Breathe again.

a black line

Clouds were waiting
For the sun to show respite,
Never to listen
      To the plea, The Sun
      Beamed his radiance,
      Firmament eagerly
      Waited for the inevitable,
Twilight consumed in delight.

a black line
