The Silent Conversations
by Orbindu Ganga

Listening to you,

I breathe in silence.

With silence taking

My breath away,

You, being aware of

My existence, I yearn

To see you before me.

You never came before,

Yet I feel your presence.

You have played,

Hide-and-seek for so long.

When can I see you to add

Words to your feelings?

The night dreams you

Without revealing you.

I feel voidness that you

Left without seeing me.

I still yearn,

Had I seen you before,

You, decorated among the stars,

Your twinkling smile leaves

Me with memories.

You add tears to every thought

Of you, you being the cynosure

In the crowded firmament.
