Sally Jo dipped her wand repeatedly into the slim cylinder containing the suds. Every time that she waved it, Henretta and Ralph leapt. The resulting rainbow spheres were reminiscent of bugs or rodents, but unlike regular prey, they disappeared upon hitting the floor.
After a short span of play, Sally Jo tired. She reinserted the plastic baton into its canister, screwed the lid shut, and regarded her desktops pile of paper. It seemed like no amount of feline succor could permanently insulate her against the mounding bills.
