Poems

Sound Then Sight
Sound of a helicopter
I search the sky
and see a dove
take off
from a tree limb.
Sharper Still
Frost outlines
the saw blades
rusted teeth
making it look
sharper.
That Is The Question
A lone pigeon
perches
on the buildings
ledge.
To jump
or not to
jump?
Feet Below
The flooding river makes
trees tip of the iceberg
as ducks fly farther
from shore to shore
over a canopy of snags
only feet, duck feet, below.
