Poems
by Terry Brinkman

Sonnet CXXII

Esteemed woebegone

Lewd suggestions at midnight

Bed chamber dynamite

Forbearance silicon

Gracious prince yawn

Dames and damsels fight

Kitchen wench parasite

Noble Lord Swan

Such solar firefly

Cut of her key

Old croons horrify

Smell Sage Tea

Tea house table passer-by

Blue moon pee

Don’t yet cry

Moon light flee

a line, (a short blue one)

Hopscotch Court

Passed over a Hopscotch court it’s too hot to play

Old man who fished now caught a wart

Wind furled Flag around the mast over the fort

Erosions in a fishless desert lake turned to clay

Beer between fishermen becoming deformed

Eyes of green same color as the Sea Port

She’s still l undefeated at a lonely sport

Fresh rag papers lost chloroform

Early morning catches the fishermen on his stage

Strange old man’s great fishing day

Pelicans flew over the harbor’s empty cage

September time snow falls on Kings peak

Drinking coffee from condensed milk cans

Molting hen’s down falling in my coffee cup

a line, (a blue one)
