Poems
by Terry Brinkman

Sleepy Whale 431

Wide brimmed hat she hides her face at the Brink

Live by sort of a half laugh quirk

A bit weak on her pins telling a yarn

Preaching and picking your pocket, cheap

Chairs left upside down with a table in the Barn

Ups his pint to wet his whistle to keep

Time to be quiet with Sabastian and darn

Who was and who is and who’s sheep

a line, (a short blue one)

Sleepy Whale 430

Pronounced eyes for witchery work

Silkily seductive Bluest of Irish Blue Ink

Voice of a Pick Ax, Face White Washed Pink

Penance for her sin bird screaming jerk

Cluster of Violet but One White Star left in the lurk

Like a cat sitting behind a dog’s link

Wide brimmed hat to hide her Brink

Live by your Pen half laugh quirk

a line, (a blue one)
